Privacy notice
Short version
During pre-launch, we don't collect personal data through this website. There are no forms, no mailing list or waitlist, no contact details to send us messages, no chat, no cookies and no analytics or visit counter. Stairwell Moves is not yet open for bookings and enquiries.
Who we are
Stairwell Moves is a trading name of Radu Abiculesei, a sole trader based in London. We will publish a full privacy notice, with contact details and how to exercise your rights, before we start collecting any personal data. We will only open bookings and enquiries after we have completed our data protection registration with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies and device storage
None. This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device (no local storage, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds).
Analytics
None during pre-launch. Our own visit counter is switched off, and pages make no background requests to our server.
The cost calculator and downloads
Any calculator runs entirely in your browser: what you enter is not sent to us. The free PDF checklists are plain downloads with no sign-up.
Technical server logs
To deliver any web page, the server necessarily receives your device's IP address and the address of the page requested. Our own website software does not record IP addresses. The web server in front of it (Caddy, on a server we rent in London, UK) keeps a short technical log of requests for security and to check the site is working: the IP address is shortened (the last part is removed), and browser details and query strings are not kept. Requests that reach the server by its bare IP address rather than our domain (mostly automated bots) are logged the same way. These technical logs are kept for no more than 14 days and then deleted automatically, and are never used to identify or track visitors, or for marketing.

You have rights under UK data protection law, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, 0303 123 1113.
